Ashley Perri (Cox) - FOUNDER
Ashley Perri has been in the aesthetics business for over 16 years. Her extensive experience includes managing the first Men's spa in Canada located in the heart of Downtown Toronto at the age of only 20, instructing aesthetics courses, both hands-on and theoretical studies, at Sheridan College shortly thereafter, and currently running Vaughan's leading skin care clinic which was established in 2013.
She has been featured on various media outlets such as Breakfast Television on two separate occasions, CBC's Living Well, Vanity Insanity Television Show, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Clips, Much Music, Shop 411, City Life Magazine on two separate occasions, Vaughan Citizen among others.
In addition, she is also the Winner of the Young Entrepreneur Award under 40 at the Vaughan Business Achievement Awards in 2018 hosted by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Recipient of the Emerging Leaders Award in October 2019 at the Women in Leadership Gala, hosted by CSPN.
Ashley also dedicates her time to Mackenzie Health Foundation. Skinprovement Medi Spa & Laser Clinic has pledged $150,000 towards Vaughan's new hospital. In addition, she was asked to be part of the Mackenzie Health Emerging Leaders Council, composed of community-minded professionals coming together to raise awareness and help raise money for Canada's first Smart Hospital.
Ashley began an initiative, Brows for the Brave, through her clinic, which offers free microblading services to those who have suffered from cancer or various illnesses. This initiative is intended to help build confidence in those brave individuals. To date, Ashley's team has offered over $100,000 worth of complimentary microblading services.
Skinprovement Medi Spa & Laser Clinic has been honoured with the Small Business Award, offered by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Skinprovement Medi Spa & Laser Clinic has also been awarded the MINDBODY Visionary Award in 2018, Eminence Organics Highest Growth Award in 2018 for all of Ontario and Upstate New York, and a Gold Reader's Choice Award for Laser Hair Removal by Vaughan Citizen in 2017.
More recently, Ashley is offering entrepreneurs franchise opportunities for Skinprovement Medi Spa & Laser Clinic.
