Yesterday, I was given an opportunity to sponsor an incredible event, The 2019 Hospice Vaughan Butterfly Gala. When I was discussing the different sponsorship opportunities for this event, I was drawn to the Hope Program Sponsor (Teens Grief and Bereavement Program) because it hits home for me. Many of you already know this, I lost my mother when I was 15 years old and I remember it like it happened yesterday. Looking back, I wish programs like this were readily available as I know myself and my family could have benefited from it. Access to these types of programs are crucial to mental wellbeing of young adolescents as they mourn the loss of a parent or loved one. I look forward to joining many great people of Vaughan on Friday, October 18th, 2019 as we raise money for this great organization. Thank you Jennifer for showing me this sponsorship opportunity.
